In brief
The toposcope was originally erected in 1907 as a gift to the City of Birmingham by Edward, George Jnr & Henry Cadbury. It was restored and refurbished in 1987-88 by Manpower Services Commission and Birmingham City Council Department of Recreation and Community Services.
